CEDAR RAPIDS — Cedar Rapids police have arrested two women who are accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of merchandise from three stores and leading police on a car chase.

Jada L. Jones-Price, 24, of Davenport, and Malena C. McCray, 18, of Rock Island, Ill., were arrested Thursday. They face charges of second-degree theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and McCray faces an additional charge of attempt to elude, according to the criminal complaint.

The complaint states officers found more than $2,000 worth of J.C. Penney merchandise in the vehicle and merchandise from T.J.Maxx and Old Navy.
