Driver of single car accident in Anamosa taken to hospital in Iowa City

The driver of a Chevrolet truck in Anamosa has been transported to an Iowa City hospital following a single vehicle accident in Anamosa.

The driver, whose name has yet to be released by authorities, was traveling southbound on the 6000 block of 180th Ave in Anamosa when they lost control and entered the west ditch on the side of the road. The driver was reportedly not wearing their seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle as the vehicle overturned.

The crash remains under investigation, and there is currently no information regarding the driver’s condition.

The Anamosa Police department, Jones County Sheriff Department, Oline Fire Department, Olin Amublance Service, Anamosa Amublance service, and Lifeguard all reported to the incident.
